Caring for your antique watch

At Universal Genève, we understand the importance of your watch and the stories behind it. If your watch is in need of restoration, our dedicated team will ensure that it receives the care it deserves.

For decades, our expert watchmakers have been passionately dedicated to the maintenance, repair and restoration of Universal Genève watches around the world, including iconic models such as the Polerouter, Compax and Tri-Compax. We do our utmost to preserve the heritage and precision of your watch, so that it continues to stand the test of time in style.

To determine whether a repair is feasible, we first invite you to send us quality photos of your watch (front and back) clearly showing the numbers on the case back. 
Depending on the year of manufacture and the general condition of your watch, our after-sales service team will assess whether an intervention is possible.

You will receive our response within two to three weeks.

Please note that shipping costs and any customs duties are your responsibility and your responsibility alone.

On receipt of your watch, we will carry out a full diagnosis before offering you a service quotation. The establishment of the estimate amounts to CHF 150.- and will be credited on our estimate in case of acceptance.

In the event of refusal, the cost of the estimate must be paid before your watch is returned to you. Administrative and packaging costs are included in this amount for all returns made within Switzerland. For returns to the rest of the world, postage and customs costs are not included in our quote; their payment remains your sole responsibility.
