In 1936, Universal Genève introduced the first triple-register chronograph, offering comprehensive timekeeping with subdials for running seconds, 30-minute recordings, and 12-hour recordings. By the mid 1960s, the Compax had evolved into a sports watch, gaining iconic status through its association with Nina Rindt, the wife of Formula One world champion Jochen Rindt. Known for its distinctive panda dial, this version combines aesthetics with robustness, making it a favorite among collectors and sports enthusiasts.
